The Dragon Heart Foundation was born to honor the extraordinary legacy of Judy White—an unwavering champion for children and families whose compassion reshaped midtown Phoenix.

In 2002, Judy founded Midtown Primary School as more than an academic institution—it was a sanctuary of hope, serving thousands of neighborhood children and their families. Under her leadership, the school became a hub for whole-family support: offering an eviction-prevention fund to keep roofs overhead, a community-run food pantry to ease hunger, and parent-engagement programs that wove families into every lesson taught. Judy believed that a child’s success began at home, and she built services around that conviction, transforming lives well beyond the classroom walls.

When Judy passed on her vision, the Dragon Heart Foundation was created in her honor to carry that mission forward. Today, the Foundation extends Judy’s work by:

• Sustaining Family Stability: Operating housing-assistance grants so no child’s education is disrupted by eviction.
   
• Ending Food Insecurity: Solving food insecurity for families in need, our food pantry provides shelf-stable, nutritious groceries alongside wraparound support services.
   
• Nurturing Future Leaders: Providing scholarships and mentorships to graduates of Judy’s school and their siblings, ensuring the next generation builds on her compassionate vision.
